My Favorite Highway? US 98

If you are looking for a road to travel, check out US Highway 98 along Florida's Gulf Coast.  The stretch from St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge to Panama City is spectacular.  You'll often travel within yards of the Gulf of Mexico!

Florida's Forgotten Coast Calendar

There's a sparsely populated stretch of Florida coastline that stretches from St. Marks National Wildlife Refuge to Mexico Beach, Florida, that is still beautiful and nearly pristine. It's called the Forgotten Coast. It's a place where you can see all manner of critters: alligators, bear, boar, bobcats, coyotes, deer, and more. If you are looking for a part of Florida that offers a real escape from civilization, it's your kind of place. We spent a couple of years there and took lots of pictures. Our best have ended up on this calendar. It's called Florida's Forgotten Coast Calendar - 2013:
